I wasn't sure our high energy Golden Retriever would actually sit still long enough for a photo session.  He is so easily distracted and it's not his nature to be a model.  But Melanie understood this and scheduled enough time to play with him letting him burn off energy and learn to trust her.  This resulted in fabulous photos of him that captured his happy, carefree, loving nature. I chose Melanie as the photographer for my senior photos.  Although she is a pet photographer, she worked amazingly well with my three horses taking time to learn their personlities and letting that shine through in the photos.  She communicated well with us and understood exactly the look we wanted in the photos. When I wanted to get some images with me and my first dog I called Melanie.  Her professionalism, eye & ability to capture our personalities made the experience a lot of fun (I’m not a fan of being photographed).  I was a bit skeptical of some of Melanie's suggestions of products, but again, I was really pleased with the photos and have beautiful wall art hanging in my house.  I wouldn’t hesitate to employ Melanie again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a quality photographer!
